Objects that are hidden are not displayed to a user unless the user has changed his or her Developer Preferences and selected the Display hidden objects check box.
With Architect, you can update individual tables or all of the tables for a data source at once.
This ensures that the data available in your project is up to date with any changes made to the tables in the data source.
